When you’re feel­ing stressed or ir­ri­ta­ble, add a few drops of chamomile es­sen­tial oil to a dif­fuser and al­low the sooth­ing fra­grance to per­me­ate the air. Dif­fu­sion works by dis­pers­ing es­sen­tial oil par­ti­cles through the air. When we breathe them in, we breathe in the ther­a­peu­tic prop­er­ties, and these travel to the brain and other parts of the body. If you don’t have a dif­fuser, you can open the bot­tle of chamomile es­sen­tial oil and in­hale the fra­grance. Or place a cou­ple of drops on the palm of your hands, rub your hands to­gether and in­hale slowly for 30 sec­onds. You could also place drops on a tis­sue to in­hale.
