RIALTO

‘ THE STORYTELLER’ The Rialto Channel prides itself on offering up cinematic fare that is vastly different from your typical Hollywood blockbuster. But DDB’s campaign shows it’s not all Eastern Bloc think-pieces.

Campaign Description:

“Rialto channel has already successfully positioned itself as the home of quality film. But it was time to show punters there’s a lightness and humour to the brand. The new campaign from DDB uses self-aware commentary of the genre to position Rialto as ‘ The Storyteller’, where story rules above all else.”

Skellern:

“I love the simplicity of the creative execution, but (I’m going to sound like a typical client here) the branding is weak. You have to look pretty hard and care to work out what’s being advertised.”

Henderson:

“Striking, entertaining, fun, classy art direction and writing, just like their movies. And unlike their movies, really simple.”

White:

“Really nice art direction. The only two I understand are the beginning, middle and end concept and the karaoke one though.”
