Cebu Living

EDITOR’S NOTE

-

This issue is full of risk-takers, of movers and shakers, who mark their lives with tasks that look insurmountable to a mere human.

Contributor David Cua caught up with this month’s cover girl, Meg Eteve, fearless and brimming with a sense of purpose, fulfilling what could be their family’s greatest legacy, HopeNow Philippines Foundation, Inc. Discover what drew her family to take on such a huge undertaking.

Also inside, our entrepreneur spotlight shines bright on Joy Benedicto. The team of Cebu Living are gleeful. We were able to convince the shy beauty and brains to pose for some breathtaking shots set against the backdrop of Be Resorts.

James Doran-Webb, sculptor and free spirit with a world of creatures in his head, lets us into his brilliant mind. We had the pleasure of seeing his work in progress for the 2015 Chelsea Flower Show, more formally known as The Royal Horticultural Society Great Spring Show, the most famous flower show in the United Kingdom.

The year has barely started and it’s looking like a kaleidoscope from my end: colorful but a little loopy, and sure to hold bursts of awesomeness. With the rest of the year to go, we hope to touch more lives, and in the process, unearth hidden gems in the form of people, places or things from our beloved Cebu.
