A global brand celebrates its Cebu opening

The grandam of caftans brings loungewear for night- to- day affairs

Compromising comfort over style was never an issue for New York- based designer Josie Natori. Born and raised in the Philippines, she understands the woes of every stylish woman in need of wearable clothing perfect for the tropical weather. Rustan’s brought N Natori and its array of loungewear and caftans perfect for the change in weather. Last March 12, Josie Natori’s SS15 collection and the brand was launched at Shangri- La’s Mactan Resort and Spa.

The island-inspired collection showcased Natori’s passion for the exotic island life with pieces ranging from muted palettes to bold tribal prints, soft island elements to exotic florals and geometrics. When the models swept the runway, Josie Natori received bouquets of flowers from the Rustan Group of Companies chairman emeritus Ambassador Bienvenido R. Tantoco Sr., together with RGC president Donnie V. Tantoco, and Rustan’s VP of home merchandising Marilen R. Tantoco.

The following day, Josie Natori conducted a styling activity at Rustan’s Cebu where she styled N Natori’s first customers herself.
