Terra
Terra’s setting almost immediately makes you feel at home, thanks to a combination of elements including the cosy dining space, warm lighting, soft colour palette and comfy banquet seats. There’s also a row of seats along the kitchen counter for solo diners. The design is contemporary, just like the food, which utilises premium Japanese ingredients such as uni, scampi from Shizuoka Prefecture near Mount Fuji, Kagoshima wagyu beef and Japanese strawberries. These are then cooked and served in a classic Italian style, whether in the form of a bruschetta, a pasta dish or doused with fresh tomato sauce. For dinner, there are three different six-course omakase menus, which vary in the dishes served. Also notable is the service; led by restaurant manager and sommelier Shotaro Aoki, who is amicable and professional. Service is efficient and effective—the waitstaff are attentive, ensuring there’s never an empty cup or finished plate on the table.
