The restaurant works the small-plate concept with Californian finesse. Signatures include a dish of chilled Alaskan king crab and melted cheese encased between crisp slivers of toast, while vegetarians get their own menu of fresh, brightly flavoured fare, such as the fried zucchini flower stuffed with a Malay-spiced ricotta. All these are served in a gorgeous dining room, tricked out with brushed wood panels interspersed with linear black accents, and complemented by stellar service. Its stylish bar is also popular, thanks to its list of excellent cocktails.
