Thank you, Mossel Bay Advertiser team, for all your hard work

Your Christian neighbours, Mossel Bay:

To the Mossel Bay Advertiser team, I hope you are doing well and that you and your families are keeping safe during this lockdown.

These past few weeks have been difficult for all South Africans. Many in our lovely town of Mossel Bay have suffered greatly; the loss of income has been a cause of anxiety for so many of our dear neighbours.

My wife and I are in the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. We are known for our public preaching work but sadly, due to the lockdown, we have not been able to visit our neighbours and share the wonderful message of hope that the Bible offers.

We are making use of different avenues such as letters, telephone and e-mails. The reason for our e-mail to you is to thank you all for your hard work in providing Mossel Bay with all the updates we need during these difficult times.

We wanted to share some words of encouragement that we found very helpful.

Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Yes, very soon God will remove all death, sickness and anxiety from our beautiful earth.

There will be no more tears. Until then we all need to do our best to stay positive and learn as much as we can from the Bible. Perhaps the time we now have available can be used to study the Bible a bit deeper and learn how to love God, His son Jesus, and each other a lot more.

Thank you again for all the hard work. It is appreciated by us all.
