Bo­dy still u­ni­den­ti­fied

Graaff-Rei­net SAPS is still ur­gent­ly trying to tra­ce the next of kin of an u­ni­den­ti­fied man.

Ac­cor­ding to Capt Brad­ley Ra­w­lin­son, spo­kes­per­son for the s­ta­ti­on, the bo­dy of an unkno­wn man was found on 8 Sep­tem­ber short­ly af­ter 23:00, on the R53, a­round 2km from the Pe­ar­ston turn-off from Graaf­fRei­net. The man was we­a­ring a na­vy hooded top, long black pants, roy­al blue socks and a pair of black and bro­wn Pu­ma tek­kies. The man is a­bout 1.75m tall. Brad­ley con­fir­med this week that the­re we­re still no le­ads to dis­co­ve­ring who the man is.

A ca­se of cul­pa­ble ho­mi­ci­de has been o­pe­ned. The Graaff-Rei­net SAPS ap­pe­als to a­nyo­ne who can as­sist in i­den­ti­fying the man, or a­nyo­ne who mig­ht be look­ing for a re­la­ti­ve who is mis­sing, to con­tact Det W/O Gys van Gent on 082 442 2969, Graaff-Rei­net Po­li­ce on 049 807 1106 or the ne­a­rest po­li­ce s­ta­ti­on.
