Busy shopping centres a concern in level 4

- Anneline Steyn, Heiderand:

We went to buy some groceries over the weekend and the malls in Mossel Bay were busy and packed with shoppers.

Sure, everyone had their masks on, but it was concerning that so many people flocked to one space during a lockdown level 4. In one food store especially, shoppers were moving around with their trolleys and we had to make way for many people due to the full aisle.

I think that we should all try to limit our shopping and try to buy for a week or a month ahead, where possible.

Let’s stay safe, Mossel Bay.
