The sum­mer menu at WCafé has just launched, with plenty to dis­cover. Woolies has added a bit of Mid­dle East­ern flair with lab­neh, a tangy yo­ghurt cheese, in­tro­duced in dishes such as lab­neh toast and rooi­bos-poached ap­ples. Break­fast is served all day, us­ing only free-range eggs, while lunch op­tions are per­fect for shar­ing. Or­der the new vege­tar­ian crispy ’shroom burger with gar­lic mayo, and an ex­otic tomato and moz­zarella salad to share. Dishes on the har­vest ta­ble are made with sea­sonal in­gre­di­ents and can be taken away, and all the sweet treats on the cake ta­ble are baked from scratch daily. Per­haps you have a favourite? The lay­ered co­conut cake? Or how about salted caramel cheese­cake and pump­kin turmeric cake with burnt but­ter ic­ing? They’re de­li­cious with a cup of cof­fee – made from 100% or­ganic African cof­fee beans.
