Add this easy tart to your hol­i­day arse­nal. It’s ver­sa­tile enough to be a starter, light meal, or a side to serve on the day (mains for guests who are eat­ing less meat).

Wool­worths all-but­ter puff pas­try sheets 1 x 250 g sheet, thawed baby mar­rows 4–6, thickly sliced Parmi­giano Reg­giano

100 g, finely grated free-range egg 1, beaten sea salt and freshly ground black pep­per, to taste

1 Pre­heat the oven to 180°C. 2 Place the puff pas­try sheet on a bak­ing tray and top with the baby mar­row. 3 Brush the pas­try with the egg and cover with the cheese.

4 Bake un­til edges are golden brown and puffy, about 30 min­utes. Sea­son and serve im­me­di­ately.
