Add this easy tart to your holiday arsenal. It’s versatile enough to be a starter, light meal, or a side to serve on the day (mains for guests who are eating less meat).
BABY MARROW TART
GREAT VALUE Preparation: 10 minutes Baking: 30 minutes
Woolworths all-butter puff pastry sheets 1 x 250 g sheet, thawed baby marrows 4–6, thickly sliced Parmigiano Reggiano
100 g, finely grated free-range egg 1, beaten sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2 Place the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray and top with the baby marrow. 3 Brush the pastry with the egg and cover with the cheese.
4 Bake until edges are golden brown and puffy, about 30 minutes. Season and serve immediately.
