SIRLOIN STEAK WITH DIJON MUSTARD AND SLAW

Preparatio­n: 5 minutes Cooking: 15 minutes

sirloin steak 1 x 600 g canola oil 2T butter 4T sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Dijon mustard 2T

For the slaw, toss: radishes 5, thinly sliced green apple

1, thinly sliced celery 2 sticks, thinly sliced baby green cabbage

1, thinly sliced coconut yoghurt ½ cup fish sauce 2T salt, to taste

Allow the steak to come to room temperatur­e. Brush with canola oil and braai over hot coals for 5 minutes per side, then rest for 10 minutes. Heat the butter in a pan on the braai until browned. Drizzle the steak with the brown butter, season and serve with the mustard and slaw. CARB-CONSCIOUS, WHEAT- AND GLUTEN-FREE
