For a one-stop food shopping spree While COVID-19 sadly meant the closure of the Food Barn Deli’s popular coffee shop, chef-owner Franck Dangereux thought fast and expanded the deli offering, swapping out the tapas bar for a dedicated biscuit kitchen and doubling the prepared meal offering. The homestyle ready meals include fragrant fish and coconut curries, hearty vegan tagines and lamb-bredie pies, while the comforting carbs emerging from the bakery – think Emmenthal-and-bacon croissants – keep everyone from pooped parents to the cycling set coming back for more.
