VANILLA BREAKFAST CAKE WITH PISTACHIO ICING

For the cake: flour 240 g salt 1/2 t baking powder 21/2 t bicarbonate of soda 1/4 t sugar 150 g free-range eggs 2, beaten
Ideal milk 1 cup butter 115 g, melted and at room temperature vanilla paste 1T
For the icing: sugar 50 g water 1/2 cup shelled pistachios 100 g salt a pinch cream 1/2 cup
icing sugar, for dusting with the salt and cream until a smooth icing is formed. Serve the cake with a dollop of the pistachio icing, dusted with icing sugar.
