CHEFS is back!
Food halls have been one of the biggest food trends of the last decade (think Eataly’s global expansion, the Time Out Markets and myriad food halls in New York, LA and Brooklyn). With the pandemic, many restaurants with exorbitant rentals (and fewer customers) were forced to rethink their business model. CHEFS, the former Gardens restaurant which pioneered a no-frills, tray-delicious concept to critical acclaim, is set to reopen as a 2 000 m2 food hallslash-marketplace in Cavendish Square in May. CHEFS will offer a wide range of cuisines by only the best purveyors to eat in or take away. And to keep overheads low, ingredients will be collectively sourced, with a strong focus on local, sustainable produce. We’re hungry already. chefsfoodhall.com
