Being so highset, the G350d’s driver’s seat doesn’t need to offer lashings of leg room, I suppose: still, I was glad my legs weren’t a couple of inches longer (I’m 6ft 3in). Even if taller than I am, though, you’d be highly unlikely to be short on head room.

As wonderfully ludicrous as the G63’s engine is, I’d go for the G350d if it were my money on the line. It’s an impressively refined motor and suits the G-class’s character far better than the V8 does.
