Interestin­g to read the article on the future of Ford in the UK and that they may bring new interestin­g imports here (News, 3 July). However, in your 2021 prediction of the UK model range there is no Mustang, nor is it mentioned in the article. Given its sales success in the UK, does this mean the RHD model is not going to be with us for much longer?

As someone who feels incredibly lucky to have a 2018 Mustang GT, it would be a real shame if this fantastic icon of a car is going to be withdrawn from the UK market. I do hope the Mustang-inspired EV SUV isn’t going to be replacing the real thing, particular­ly if the final car looks less Mustang and more inf lated Focus, as per the Autocar rendering.

Here’s hoping the Mustang stays on sale here for a good few years.
