At first, I thought perhaps I was just being very light-footed in the Wrangler. But after 2000 miles, it’s clear that I’m comfortably getting 32mpg from it – 3mpg better than its official figure. Given that this car wasn’t optimised for the WLTP test cycle and that WLTP is meant to be more realistic anyway, this shouldn’t be a surprise, but it is.
