TOYOTA GIVES CLOSER LOOK AT bz LARGE SUV

Nearly two months since Toyota boss Akio Toyoda rocked the car industry by unwrapping 15 new electric concepts at once, the brand has given a closer look at the new SUV flagship of its emerging bz EV family.

It claimed the bz Large SUV Concept shows “how seven occupants can ride in all-electric comfort”, which suggests it will ultimately serve as an EV equivalent of the Highlander and a rival to Volvo’s upcoming large electric SUV.

Other cars due to join the “reasonably priced” bz range include a compact coupé-suv, a high-riding urban EV and a saloon to rival the Tesla Model 3.
