This Legend was notable for offering automatic steering, lane keeping assistance and forward collision mitigation 16 full years ago. Active front lighting, Bluetooth and a rear-view camera also appeared on an amazing roster of kit. Less impressive, surprisingly, was its lethargic 3.5-litre V6 and the lack of a diesel option at a time when oil-burners were becoming all the rage. It seems only a few dozen are left of this generation; tidy examples come up at around £4000.
