Renault Fluence ZE

A truly revolutionary electric car was launched in 2012 – but that was the Tesla Model S, with its 250-mile-plus range. By contrast, the Fluence ZE offered just 115 miles. And while it cost much less than the Tesla, at £22,195, it was still hardly cheap for its day. Inevitably heavy, its handling wasn’t up to much. It was all too little, too early, so Renault managed to sell a mere 79 examples in the UK, of which 47 are left. Expect to pay £5000 – assuming that you can find one in the first place.
