NEED TO KNOW
The Ignis was remarkably cheap at its 2017 launch, priced from £9999. It rose to £11,499 for the SZ-T and £12,999 for the SZ5.
The Ignis’s 2020 facelift made it notably more expensive, with a new starting price of £13,999, even though the specification was virtually unchanged.
Models produced from 2020 have updated hybrid powertrains that are more efficient. In fact, the system is so effective that the Ignis has won our sibling title What Car?’s True MPG award four years in a row, recording real-world figures of 74.8mpg in rural areas and 53.3mpg on the motorway.
In 2018, a limited-edition trim called Adventure added a spoiler, side stripes, skidplates and coloured front-foglight bezels to SZ-T spec for an extra £1000.
