MERCEDES TO HALVE ITS CARBON FOOTPRINT BY 2030

Mercedes-benz has committed to reducing its CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030, crucially looking at the entire value chain in the process. A pledge to go all-electric, though, was caveated with “where market-conditions allow”. In a wide-ranging conference, the German manufacturer also stated that it wants its senior management team to be 30% female by the end of the decade.
