Giovanni Michelotti Buses

-

Michelotti (1921-1980) is one of the unsung heroes of the car design world. It’s no surprise that the Italian was drafted in to work on designs for Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Lancia and Maserati, but he also left his mark on the British car industry. He was responsible for several Triumph cars in the 1960s and 1970s, including the Herald, GT6, Spitfire, Dolomite and Stag, and he designed the Leyland National bus for British Leyland.
