I had to smile about Kris Culmer’s problems with the “driver assistance” in his HR-V (Our Cars, 30 March).

I’ve long been a Honda fan, from the NSX downwards. My current Jazz E:HEV also had a mind of its own until my local Honda garage showed me how to dial the system out. It’s much better now, although you can’t disable it permanently and have to dial it out each time you use the car. Richard Taylor
