Good reasons for SUVS
I understand the point Jim Holder is making about electric SUVS being “paradoxical” (Inside Information, 6 April), but I can’t be the only person who wants to move to lower or zero emissions but for medical reasons finds himself these days needing a higher car for accessibly reasons.
I would imagine there are plenty of families out there who also find an SUV a better solution for them.
If we’re to head towards an electric future, all needs must be catered for, even if some of us rue the loss of our younger years, which were full of hot hatchbacks and sports cars. Colin Harris
