London Concert Choir

Brahms - German Requiem, 4th March 2019

London Concert Choir, Canticum and Southbank Sinfonia will be performing this choral masterpiece at the Barbican with conductor Mark Forkgen. For his heartfelt Requiem, written to comfort the living, Brahms drew on biblical texts contrasting the transience of human life with the eternal nature of God and the joy of the world to come.
