Armistice Day – 100 Years On, 11th November 2018, 6pm

On Remembrance Sunday, the Royal Choral Society marks the centenary of the Great War Armistice with a concert of music and poetry for this national day of commemoration. The programme includes Vaughan Williams’ impassioned Dona Nobis Pacem and Elgar’s Enigma Variations. Actor Paul Mcgann (Withnail & I, Doctor Who), will read a selection of First World War poetry.
