BBC Proms Dubai

The BBC Proms return to the Dubai Opera House this year for another global celebration of classical music. The First Night features the world premiere of a work by Britishlebanese composer Bushra El-turk, alongside Korngold’s stunning Violin Concerto.

This Classical Life

In our exciting new programme, rising star saxophonist Jess Gillam is joined by friends and contemporaries to discuss their favourite works and perspective of the music industry as young performers. It will also be available as a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Easter Oratorio

It wouldn't be Easter without hearing Bach's spectacular Easter Oratorio. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales is combining this great work with Rimsky-korsakov’s Russian Easter Festival Overture, based on canticles from the Orthodox Church marking the end of winter.
