BBC Music Magazine - - Reviews -

Finnis has established himself as one of the UK’S most versatile composers. Born in Oxford, he studied with Julian Anderson at the Guildhall and has enjoyed creative collaborations with the Britten Sinfonia, London Sinfonietta and London Contemporary Orchestra (for which he was composer-in-association). His works, from solo to orchestral via chamber and immersive electronics, have been performed all over and premiered by some of today’s top flight musicians – including Víkingur Ólafsson, ORA Singers, Benjamin Beilman, Mark Simpson and Clare Hammond.
