Pro-ject VT-E BT £399

It’s the sort of left-field design I’ll probably get letters about, but I’ve become strangely fond of Pro-ject’s vertical space-saving Bluetooth turntable. Mounted on a wall, or using a stand, records are held firmly in place using a simple clamp, while the re-engineered 8.6-inch tonearm and Ortofon OM 5E cartridge track the grooves perfectly. Sound is sprightly and engaging, and while streaming over Bluetooth lacks nuance, I can’t fault the convenience. henleyaudio.co.uk
