The DSO introduces its new season under the baton of its chief conductor Marc Tardue in the World Heritage City of Dubrovnik
Celebrating its 95th anniversary in 2020, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra continues to be an important part of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the city of Dubrovnik and Croatia. Chief conductor Marc Tardue’s second season during 2019/20 includes festivals, educational programmes and family concerts – also featuring many national and international artists – plus a year-long Schubert cycle; an international conducting masterclass; the Baroque music cycle ‘Orlando Furioso’ with Dmitry Sinkovsky; and the tenconcert series ‘Dubrovnik Musical Spring’, encompassing masterpieces of the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods within the most beautiful venues in Dubrovnik.
