Wi-fi is higher quality and music continues to play if you leave the room with your phone. Most systems with Wi-fi also have Bluetooth. What’s compatible? Sonos has 16 compatible products, so it’s easy to build a multi-room system. Not all brands are so generous, so check what each one has, especially if you want to add more speakers to your set-up. Which app? Check the speaker’s compatibility with your preferred streaming service. Spotify Connect and Apple Airplay 2 use your home’s Wi-fi, allowing you to stream to different compatible speakers.
