Holy Trinity Westbury-on-trym, Bristol
Featuring the combined voices of the parish choir, choral group and Trinity singers, a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols is on Sun 22 December at 6.30pm. The music includes a world premiere by music director David Ogden.
St Mary Magdalene Newark-on-trent, Notts
A concert to launch the choir’s latest Christmas album, A Babe is Born, is on Sat 7 Dec at 6pm. Tickets for £5 for adults; children are free. A traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is on Sunday 22 at 5pm.
St Mary the Virgin Merton, London
To celebrate Advent and the lead-up to Christmas, St Mary’s is holding a short 40-minute Family Christmas Concert on Saturday 7 Dec at 7pm, featuring songs, carols and solo performances. Admission is free.

Finedon, Northamptonshire
St Mary’s Christmas Carol Service takes place on Sunday 22 Dec at 6pm, and includes music by Edinburgh-based composer and friend of the choir, Chris Hutchings. Gigout’s splendid organ showpiece, the Rhapsodie sur des Noëls, rounds off the service in style.
All Saints Northampton
Also on 22 Dec at 6pm is All Saints’ Nine Lessons and Carols featuring the boys, girls and men of the choir. The music is yet to be announced, but you can get a flavour of the voices in their CD, Be Merry! Christmas Favourites from America.
Holy Cross Crediton, Devon
Holy Cross’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is at 6pm on the 22nd too. The choir’s Christmas Concert – highlights from Messiah – takes place on the 14th at 7.30pm.

St Mary’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is at 6:30pm on 22 Dec while the choir will also sing a selection of carols before Midnight Mass, at 11pm on the 24th.
