Elizabeth Alker (see p22) steps back to the 1980s, when a new kind of music emerged in Japan, thanks to the huge advancements in music technology. Ivor Gurney: Unmouthed
Ivor Gurney spent the final years of his life in an asylum where he produced hundreds of poems and songs, 80 per cent of which have never been heard. We’ll hear many of these for the first time, with contributions from poets Andrew Motion and Simon Armitage and baritone Thomas Allen. Sunday Feature: 20 June, 6.45-7.30pm
