Last Night of the Proms
As well as the usual Last Night pomp and circumstance, the BBC Symphony Orchestra will give the world premiere of Mother, a new work by Gity Razaz. The American composer was taught by John Corigliano, who has praised her unique use of Middle Eastern influences.
