Mark-anthony Turnage’s new football-inspired work will include highlights of Arsenal’s famous 1989 match against Liverpool projected behind the orchestra. The concert will be followed by a discussion with former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon and members of the 1989 team. Radio 3 in Concert: 5 Nov, 7.30pm
EFG London Jazz Festival
Radio 3 returns to the London Jazz Festival, broadcasting various concerts from the Southbank. As well as the opening night celebrations, you can tune into a Late Junction special, as well as a performance by visionary trumpeter Yazz Ahmed. Radio 3 in Concert: 12 Nov, 7.30pm
