Pamela Helen Stephen (born 1965 ), was an award-winning British mezzo-soprano who performed regularly with Opera North and English National Opera. She notably performed the role of Caesar in a 2012 production of Handel’s Giulio Cesare.

English composer Gordon Crosse (born 1937 ) wrote many works for the stage including music theatre pieces, opera and ballet. He worked regularly with the poet Ted Hughes.
