Walton’s Cello Concerto Rising cellist Laura van der Heijden joins the BBC National Orchestra of Wales live at Snape Maltings to revisit Walton’s captivating Cello Concerto – the piece which won her the BBC Young Musician title in 2012. We’ll also be treated to Elizabeth Maconchy’s coronation tone poem, Proud Thames, and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10.
