A state-of-the-art hall

The Stormen Kulturhus (above) has become a glittering jewel in Bodø’s crown. Featuring no less than four performance spaces, with innovative acoustic design, the award-winning venue is now one of Europe’s very best. At its heart is the 944-seat Store Sal, an extraordinary space which has the ability to transform from a classic ‘shoebox’ concert hall to a fully-fledged theatre, complete with orchestra pit and fly system. Situated on the town’s beautiful waterfront, a short boat ride from sparkling fjords and rugged mountains, Stormen is Bodø’s homefrom-home for musicians, basking in the glow of the midnight sun.
