Eurostar pushes its image beyond the functional with a playful ad inspired by New Wave cinema. It is the first spot both created and produced by production company Somesuch, which pitched against two agencies for the project. Cinematogr­apher Robbie Ryan shot the ad in 4:3 aspect ratio, as used in the early days of film. The spot follows the adventures of a young traveller and his companions as he encourages viewers to be more open to new experience­s. It was created by Somesuch founding partner Tim Nash and Kim Gehrig, who also directed the film.
