Eurostar pushes its im­age be­yond the func­tional with a play­ful ad in­spired by New Wave cinema. It is the first spot both cre­ated and pro­duced by pro­duc­tion com­pany Some­such, which pitched against two agen­cies for the project. Cine­matog­ra­pher Rob­bie Ryan shot the ad in 4:3 as­pect ra­tio, as used in the early days of film. The spot fol­lows the ad­ven­tures of a young trav­eller and his com­pan­ions as he en­cour­ages view­ers to be more open to new ex­pe­ri­ences. It was cre­ated by Some­such found­ing part­ner Tim Nash and Kim Gehrig, who also di­rected the film.
