The later Comets were very similar to the Cadet, other than the smaller engine and both make lovely, affordable classics. The smaller James bikes had a lot of pressed steel and an unusual single shock rear suspension set-up. Those pressed steel parts are going to be the hardest to find. All James bikes are fun on the right roads, with the right company, though the bigger bikes make more sense.
