One of the most charming 1950s British singles, with nice manners and gentle performance. The post-1959 models used the famous Featherbed frame, adding decent alternator electrics and good looks, but the earlier non-Featherbed machines are charming, much cheaper and have a better riding position. The Featherbed versions are the most expensive. Very few Featherbed M50s survive, as one with a blown engine was the cheapest way of getting a Triton built.
