Make the basic vanilla ice cream recipe above and add these ingredients before churning
Chunky fudge & coffee ripple ice cream
Stir 3 tbsp instant coffee granules into the warm ice cream base then chill and churn. Layer into the ice cream tub with 210g pot
coffee sauce and 8 pieces of dairy fudge, squashed into smaller chunks to create some ripples. Serves 6.
Blackcurrant cheesecake ice cream
Whisk 150g tub cream cheese into the custard, churn and layer with 100g blackcurrant jam and 5-6 shortbread biscuits, crumbled into chunks. Serves 6.
Cookies & cream ice cream
Make the custard, preferably with all cream then cool and churn. Roll a 300g pack chocolate chip cookie dough Ì Ì Ã > iÃ] y>ÌÌi Ì i with your hands and layer through the ice cream. Freeze until solid. Serves 6.
