Chance to drive a ‘Pacer’ at the Steelworks

THE Appleby Fordingham Railway Preservation Society has resumed the operation of driver experiences courses with its resident three-car Class 144 ‘Pacer’ No. 144017.

Each experience consists of about two hours of driving the train around the internal system of British Steel Scunthorpe, departing from and returning to Frodingham platform.
