‘Royal Charter’ from Crewe to mark the jubilee

TO mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, BR Standard Class 7 Pacific No. 70000 Britannia will haul‘The Royal Charter’from Crewe to Windsor on Friday, June 3 in support of the Railway Benefit Fund.

The tour, run by Locomotive Services Limited, will start its journey from Crewe at about 8.30am, calling at Stafford and Nuneaton and arriving into Windsor early afternoon. After a sightseeing break, the charter will depart late afternoon to arrive back at Crewe late evening.

The charter will comprise the luxury Saphos Trains carriages, and seats in Pullman Dining and First Class Non-Dining are available.
