Vandals attack Bo’ness station

-

POLICE are hunting vandals who smashed windows in a 1959-built Mk.1 carriage and Bo’ness station on the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway.

The railway said that it has good quality CCTV footage of the incident on June 29.

Amanda Kilburn, business development director at the Scottish Railway Preservation Society, said: “We are all really sad about this needless vandalism.

“So many hours of mainly volunteer labour have got us to where we are today.”

An appeal for donations towards the cost of repairing the damage has been set up. Contribute online at https://cafdonate.cafonline. org/20941#!/DonationDetails
