A daily dose of yogurt can be an effective tool for managing high blood pressure, according to new research from the University of South Australia. After assessing over 900 people, researcher­s found those eating yogurt regularly had significan­tly lower blood pressure than people who didn’t. That’s likely due to the key micronutri­ents – such as calcium, magnesium and potassium – which are involved in the regulation of blood pressure.
