Scissorhands must leave his blades at home
A STALKER dubbed “Mr Scissorhands” after he followed lone women so he could cut off their hair has been banned from carrying cutting tools in public.
Unemployed technical surveyor Darren Dixon, 48, armed himself with a pair of scissors then crept up behind victims to snip off their locks.
In one case father of four Dixon stalked student Jessica Wright, 19, in Manchester before cutting her hair on a busy street.
On Tuesday, Dixon, of Salford, who admitted two charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, was given an ASBO banning him from carrying cutting tools in public.
He was also ordered to complete a three year community order, ordered to get counselling for his behaviour and pay each of the girls £500 in compensation.
