Gun siege Facebook nut jailed

A ‘GUNMAN’ who urged his 400 online friends to watch a “live murder on Facebook” has been jailed.

Greg Searle posted regular messages on the site during an eight-hour siege as armed cops surrounded his home.

Searle ( above), 35, was handed two years for threatening police during the running commentary in which he posted, ‘I give you live murder on Facebook. Bet you sick freaks can’t wait for me to make my move so you can watch”.

At one stage Searle updated his Facebook page to say, “I’ve left my grenade somewhere.”

Cardiff Crown Court heard how the siege at Chepstow, South Wales eventually ended when cops stormed the house – and discovered a gun he’d branded was fake.

Searle pleaded guilty to affray and admitted threatening police with an imitation firearm.
